Fourteen-year-old Pamela Milad Chahine has hit the road to accelerate her future dreams of becoming a beauty queen, serving as an inspiration and benchmark in society.

The high school student had to carry the burden of balancing academics and an intensive 20-day camping experience for the Miss Teen Tourism pageant.

The Miss Teen Tourism pageant is a beauty pageant that seeks to build the capacity of teenage girls to bear responsibilities in society and become ambassadors of tourism in their country and the world at large.

The event, previously held in the Philippines by Megastar Philippines, was hosted in Ghana for the first time.

Pamela Milad Chahine, who emerged as one of the crowned queens, is challenged to use her platform to make a positive impact on society.

Following her win on September 11, 2023, the principal of British International School, the entire administrative body, students, and friends were honoured to officially welcome the talented and inspiring young beauty queen.

The school authorities congratulated her for coming this far and also putting the school in the spotlight.

He urged them to always believe in themselves, work hard, and remain humble to their parents, teachers, and elders.

Pamela Milad Chahine’s management also expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to the British International School and its principal with citations of appreciation for their unwavering support throughout her journey.

The principal of the school, Mr. Michael Mensah, in a brief speech, congratulated Pamela Milad Chahine for emerging as one of the winners of Miss Teen Tourism International 2023.

He said, “Congratulations, Pamela. The school’s management is proud of you, and we encourage you to continue to soar higher in all your endeavours.”

He further commended Pamela for putting the school in the spotlight, and encouraged students to challenge themselves to take up certain roles and explore their passions and God-given talents because British International School is interested in nurturing students to be both academically inclined and passion-driven.

The official welcome occasion provided clear evidence of how the principal, administration, students, and friends were proud to have a crowned queen in their school.
