Capital Bank recently opened its 19th branch at Labone in Accra to offer its clients in the area with world-class banking services.
Fitzgerald Odonkor, Managing Director of Capital Bank, said the bank has three more branches to open at East Legon, Achimota and Harper Road in Kumasi to bring its branch network to 22 by end of this year.
“As part of our renewed vision, we are rolling out contemporary branches that are world-class in terms of visual appeal but also communicate our strong African identity. This year, we have replaced our Osu Branch with a very modern branch on the Oxford Street and our new Labone branch brings Capital bank’s total branch network to 19.”
He stated that the bank would be relocating its current branch at Pampaso in Kumasi to provide enhanced banking experience for clients.
Capital Bank, he added, had deployed the latest core banking applications to maximise operational efficiency while also it had streamlined its processes to make them highly responsive to unique customer needs.
The bank lately launched SpeedPay, an innovative solution that made it possible for customers to deposit cash into their bank accounts anytime, anyday and anywhere through their mobile phones and money vouchers without having to visit the banking hall.
During the Ghana Club 100 awards, Capital Bank was ranked 8th for the banking category and 25th in the club of 100 most prestigious companies in the country.
Eunice Brocke, Head of Retail Banking at Capital Bank, said the Labone branch was one of four branches of the bank that were equipped with priority banking centres which offered customized and premium solutions to serve the diverse needs of clients who want augmented banking services.
