HAPPY MAN Bitters has been adjudged the most promising herbal bitters of the year (2018) at the recently held 6th Made-In-Ghana Awards (MIGA) in Accra.
Charger Group of Companies, producers of Happy Man Bitters emerged top in the MIGA and Exhibition, category (Most promising herbal bitters), in the prestigious gala awards.
For the CEO of Charger Limited Emmanuel Borketey Bortey, the recognition has urged his outfit on, to go the extra mile in their discharge of duties saying, “We are highly honoured for this prestigious award, it clearly demonstrates that our works are closely monitored from afar. It will certainly urge us on to give off our best.”
He commended the organizers of the event for recognizing the efforts of local industries and the promotion of Ghanaian products.
Arranged by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG), the objective of the awards seeks to promote and market quality manufactured products, industry personalities, distributor and service industries in Ghana; in an effort to reduce the cedi depreciation against the US Dollar.
It is also a platform for consumers to promote made in Ghana products and services organisation and also encourage local industries to make significant improvement in service quality, product quality and innovation to meet the challenge of international standards.
Themed ‘Promoting industrialization, the key to job creation and economic development’, the event drew some of the country’s top notch companies.
The criteria was based on six parameters– a registered manufacturing industry in Ghana that has demonstrated overall product superior quality, product labeling, product packaging, product competitiveness, product innovation and product standard certification.
