Chase Forever Breaks Hiatus With ‘Okeka Mu’

Chase Forever

Ghanaian singer, Chase Forever, returns with a heart melting ballad titled ‘Okeka Mu’, literally meaning ‘screaming’.

Produced by Lowkeybeats, the song was released on Sunday, July 4, on major streaming platforms.

It was released together with visuals shot by Anibok Studios.

The song breaks Chase’s long hiatus from the music scene. It is his first song in 2021 after his last single titled ‘Justice’ featuring King James Beats in June 2020.

‘Justice’ was released in support of Black Lives Matter campaign for the late George Floyd who was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill. Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down, begging for his life and repeatedly saying, “I can’t breathe” before he died.

Chase and King’s song was a tribute to George Floyd.

It’s being a year since he released that song and he is now out with ‘Okeka Mu’. The new song is expected to win him new followers depending on its penetration.
