CWG Ghana Limited, a member of pan African ICT company CWG Plc, has received the ISO 9001:2015, a Quality Management System Standard that re-certifies CWG Ghana as a company that consistently provides world-class business enabling solutions.

The issuance of the approval certificate follows a rigorous assessment carried out by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) following an application by CWG Ghana to have its Quality Management Systems (QMS) audited and certified in compliance with international standards and best practices.

The recertification confirms that CWG Ghana has an effective QMS in place.

The fundamental systems provided through the ISO 9001:2015 certification include assurance oncustomer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management.

According to a statement by the Approval Committee of the GSA, “The quality management system applies to the provision of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions to business entities in Ghana. This entails the provision of information and communication technology products and services solutions in the areas of infrastructure, software, communications and training that will ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.”

Oluwaseun Layade, Head, Project Management & Corporate Development, CWG Ghana, explained that receiving ISO 9001:2015 certification is in line with the quality policy.

“CWG Ghana shall deliver ICT Solutions that will add value to our customers’ operations, meet and exceed our customers’ expectation, and we shall deliver them right first time and all the time.”

Harriet Attram Yartey, Managing Director, CWG Ghana Limited, highlighted the significance of the feat to the company’s operations.

“This process goes a long way to show the level of commitment and extent to which our organization is willing to go, to assure our customers and other stakeholders that our systems and processes are all structured to ensure they consistently receive the best service from us,” she said.

“This recertification is an attestation to our continuous commitment to the provision of quality services per international standards through improving efficiency. Likewise, it helps us create a better working environment that also boosts our staff morale,” she added.

The 9001:2015 certification replaces the older and phased out version.
