CID personnel at DAILY GUIDE’S regional office
DAILY GUIDE office in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital, has been raided by suspected robbers.
It is believed that the suspects broke into the office late in the night of Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
They cut the wire mesh in the window of the office, removed the louvre blades and gained access into it.
They made away with a Multi TV decoder and a 14-inch colour television.
Upon arriving at the office, DAILY GUIDE staff discovered a                   fingerprint on the Samsung Flat screen TV, suspected to have been unconsciously printed by one of the suspects.
There was also a woven hair cap believed to belong to one of them which might have been trapped by the wire mesh in the window.
This is the second time the regional office of the newspaper has been ransacked.
Earlier this year, a similar incident occurred at the premises where the perpetrators, who could not break into the office, destroyed properties outside it.
The incident has since been reported to the police who have given the assurance that they would carry out investigation and bring the culprits to book.
