Daughters Of Glorious Jesus at Daily Guide
Members of Daughter of Glorious Jesus yesterday paid a surprise visit to the offices of DAILY GUIDE to officially thank the paper for its enormous support and contribution towards the growth of their career and the gospel music industry.
The group— made up Edina Agyare Sarpong, Cynthia Agyare Appiedu and Monica Owusu Ansah— during the visit announced plans of celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.
The public relations officer of the group, Andy Lartey, known in the showbiz scene as Andy Favoured, who spoke on behalf of the group, said there will be a press activity in February to officially announce activities lined up for the celebration.
According to him, the group will soon embark on a regional musical tour throughout the country to entertain their fans, as well as thank them for supporting the group throughout the years.
He added that the group will host tribute concerts in Accra to also thank Ghanaians for supporting the group in different ways.
The members of the group, together with the Editor of DAILY GUIDE, Yaw Owusu, cut a thank you cake which was presented to the staff of the paper.
The group also presented a citation to the paper which read, “It’s been a glorious 30 year journey…For 30 years of singing the gospel in Ghana, your media outfit has been one of the major platforms that has propelled us to greater heights, God richly bless you and expand your territories.
We are, indeed, grateful for the overwhelming support you have given to our ministry over the years.”
