A renowned gospel artiste, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, has called for unity among artistes to help nurture their talents and potentials to build the Kingdom of God.

She said gospel music could easily transform the spiritual lives of Ghanaians, but added that the transformation could take place if artistes allowed peace and unity to prevail among them.

In an interview with the GNA Entertainment, after she had presented some educational materials to two basic schools on Monday in the Wenchi Municipality, Evangelist Asamoah entreated gospel musicians to collaborate and use music to propagate the word of God.

She presented 2,000 exercise books, pens and pencils, as well as school uniforms, to pupils of Ahwene and Buoku M/A Primary and Junior High schools.

Evangelist Asamoah indicated that many upcoming gospel musicians were embedded with great potentials and talents that could have positive impact on the industry, saying “it behoves prominent artistes to support the younger ones to build their talents”.

She stressed that disunity among gospel artistes would grieve the Holy Spirit and possibly affect the performances of gospel artistes.

Evangelist Asamoah said gospel music was godly and a form of evangelism.

She advised wealthy artistes to show love and compassion to society by assisting the needy and vulnerable as they spread the word of God through music.
