The Speaker of Parliament, Alban S.K. Bagbin has announced to all members of the Eighth Parliament on the commencement of the Second Meeting of the Third Session.
According to the Speaker, members are scheduled to resume sittings on Tuesday, June 6.
The Speaker gave the notice on Friday, May 19. This is in pursuance of Standing Order 37 of the Parliament of Ghana.
This comes after Parliament went on recess on Friday, March 31 after a long night, approving three tax bills.
They were recalled earlier this month, precisely on Tuesday, May 2, to consider some loan agreements.
Resumption of the House on June 6 will see the swearing-in of the new member for Kumawu Constituency as by-election is underway.
