Engen Ghana has been honoured for their continued environmentally friendly programs and safety measures in their operations with the community at heart.
Engen Ghana, an Africa-based energy company focusing on the downstream refined petroleum products market and related businesses was presented with the award in Accra by The Humanity Magazine International, a medium which campaigns for the promotion of corporate investments and businesses for employment creation.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Humanity Magazine Yahaya Alhassan, in a special citation praised the company and the Managing Director saying, “Henry have shown courage in the discharge of your duties, clarity in your objectives to transform and rebrand the company to restore stakeholder confidence here and outside Ghana, coupled with the company’s continued environmentally friendly programs through Engen operations for the benefit of mother Ghana and Africa.”
He added the company has demonstrated unparalleled campaign for the promotion of safety in Ghana’s energy sector.
Alhassan appealed to all in the energy sector to master the art of protecting the environment including putting measures to save lives and properties through continued education and workshops.
The Engen Ghana boss, Henry Akwaboah thanked the Humanity Magazine for the honour and recognition.
