Fatau Dauda
Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has targeted another three points ahead of Enyimba’s second group game in the CAF Confederations Cup against CARA Brazzaville.
The Nigerians defeated Mali’s Djoliba in the Group C opener on Sunday and are joint top of the table with Ivorian side Williamsville.
Enyimba beat Djoliba 2-0 and ahead of next Wednesday’s trip to Congo, the Ghanaian revealed the team has been conditioned to win all games regardless of the venue.
“The good thing is that these matches are shown live and you can only win if you play good football,” the 33-year old Ghanaian shot-stopper stated after the game against Djoliba.
“I think everything is being done by the coaches to ensure we win either home or away.”
Enyimba are playing in the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time despite their exploits on the Africa continent.
The two times African Champions look set to be the first side from Nigeria to win the CAF Confederations Cup.
Meanwhile, they will face Ifeanyi Ubah in the Nigerian Professional League on Wednesday where they lie 9th after 17 games.
Fatau Dauda joined the club two seasons ago and has been the number one goalkeeper this season.
