Fred Nuamah and wife
Founder of Ghana Movie Awards, Fred Nuamah, tied the nuptial knot with his girlfriend, Martekor Quaye, at a high-profile private ceremony on Saturday.
The marriage comes on the heels of years of incessant pressure from his family and friends to find a wife.
The ceremony was attended by Sandra Ankobiah, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Omar Sheriff Captan, Becca and a host of other Ghanaian entertainers.
The new couple has since Saturday been receiving congratulatory messages on most social media platforms.
Fred Nuamah proposed to Martekor in January 2018 while on board an Africa World Airline from Accra to Monrovia, Liberia.
They were part of a delegation of actors, including John Dumelo, Confidence Haugen, Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker and media persons, who attended President George Oppong Weah’s inauguration.
On Saturday, he sealed it with the marriage ceremony, and now they are husband and wife.
From NEWS-ONE’s checks, Martekor Quaye is the director of sales and marketing at Best Western Hotels & Resorts. She lives in Ghana but hails from Australia.
