A delegation from Germany has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
The delegation which is on a three-day working visit to Ghana, is being led by the German Education Minister, Anja Karliczek.
The visit to Mr. Opoku Prempeh was to further strengthen the relationship between Ghana and Germany as well as discuss how the future looks for both nations with regards to cooperation in education.
“I was glad to learn that Germany continues to hold Ghana in high esteem and was impressed with our reformation agenda in education especially when it came to the revamp of our Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET),” Mr. Opoku Prempeh said.
“To this effect, Mrs. Karliczek reiterated Germany’s commitment to supporting Ghana in the area of skills development and technical training toward her Ghana Beyond Aid agenda,” he said.
