Ghana is set to make another history as it prepares to commission what is said to be the largest steel manufacturing company in West Africa.
The $80 million steel and iron manufacturing factory is under the Ghanaian Government’s One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative.
It is owned by B5 Plus Limited, a steel manufacturing giant in West Africa and Ghana.
Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten, is billed to commission the factory located Kpone in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana at about 10:30am today, Friday, August 23, 2019.
The company envisaged to provide about 3,000 direct jobs and save Ghana some $100 million annually in foreign exchange.
