GLICO Sweeps 5 Awards

GLICO, a major insurance service provider, has won five awards at the recently held Ghana Finance Innovations Awards.

The awards won are as follows: Pensions CEO of the Year; Pensions CFO of the Year; Finance Team of the Year; Innovative Insurance Company of Year, and a special lifetime achievement recognition award to Victor Owusu Boakye, Chief Finance Officer for GLICO Life, for his outstanding contributions to business and finance.

Cassiel Atuliba received the Pensions Chief Executive Officer of the Year Award on behalf of Dr. Francis Sapara Grant of GLICO Pensions, Belinda Dede Tandoh received the Pensions Chief Finance Officer of the Year Award, GLICO Life’s finance team received the Finance Team of the year gold category award while the Group Head, Corporate Affairs & Marketing, Nana Efua Rockson received the Most Innovative Insurance Company Award.

The Ghana Finance Innovations Awards is an annual awards ceremony that is currently in its fourth year.

The award recognizes the achievements of finance organizations, senior finance officers and the accomplishments of finance teams towards the growth and sustainability of their organizations and to the financial industry as a whole.

GLICO Pensions and GLICO Life received awards for their outstanding and remarkable performances over the years for the management of a financial institution and the excellent navigation of its associated risk and complexities to achieve business continuity and growth.

Specifically, GLICO Life’s Finance Team was presented with the “Finance team of the year Gold Award” for its aptitude for excellence, professionalism and pioneering finance innovation for GLICO Life to become a company of choice.

Executive Chairman of GLICO Group, Kwame Achampong-Kyei, who could not hide his joy, was full of praise for the finance team of GLICO Life and to the entire GLICO family for their commitment and dedication to building a formidable GLICO company.
