Ghana’s Fastest Human race founder, Reks Brooby, says the stage is set for the finals of the annual short distance meet at the Cape Coast Stadium this Saturday.
Indications are that athletes who excelled in the regional competitions are battle ready for the showdown.
They will battle for honours in the U-15, 18, seniors boys and girls categories.
Founder of the short distance initiative, Reks Brooby, said ahead of the finals, ” We are ready, so are the athletes, and if the regional contest is anything to go by, then we are in for a real showdown.”
The competition, started a little over a decade ago to revive athletics in schools, is being sponsored by GNPC, Adidas, GOIL, Moringa King, Global Media Alliance, Sports Equity Lab, Kriate Lync, Wrenco Printing and Pipas Gym.
