Twelve-year-old Michaela Nana Yaa Sarpong Akuoko won the Miss Kidi Ghana season three finals held last Saturday at the Zenith University College auditorium.

Michaela, a student from Says International School, defeated nine other contestants after fierce competition.

She won the Miss Eloquent title thanks to her persuasive speeches, and she continued to rule the Miss Talent competition as well.

For her prize, she received a crown, cash, instructional materials, a tablet, products from sponsors, and a round-trip overseas flight.

Muntom Ninsaw Lucita, a student at the Ministry of Health Basic School placed second. She also received a special cash prize, educational materials, a tablet, and cash.

Valerie Malgor Nareyore and Princess Kofituo Xornam placed third and fourth respectively. Lisa Naa Adjeley Sugar Sowah placed 5th runner up.

They all received cash and special prizes for their efforts.

The 10 delegates were reduced to five, which sharpened the focus of the entertaining event, which was judged by Nana Tiaah Ampem Darkoa I, Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum, and artiste Kwabena Kwabena.

The crowded auditorium went wild during musical performances by Banzy Vanero, the creator of the hit song ‘Hossana’, Truth Ofori, and the Diamond Arts Academy.

Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum, CEO of ASKOF Productions Limited, the pageant’s organisers, said in a post-event interview, “I congratulate all 10 delegates for making it this far. It’s been a worthwhile competition.

“Indeed, the weeks of practice have paid off. My genuine gratitude goes out to their parents and schools for making them accessible. Without the help of my hardworking and committed team—Eugene, Tanko, Chris, Eugene II, Ameley, Isaac, and Kakel—this obviously would not have been feasible. We anticipate a stronger fourth season.”

She indicated that Season 4 promises to be even better, adding “I have witnessed a significant transition from the beginning to the present, which gives us all the excitement we need to continue on this tangent and encourage more young girls to use their God-given skills.”

Mcberry Biscuits, Flora Tissues, Top Choco, Angel Cola, and Essential Cosmetics Patcy Glam all provided sponsorship for the event.
