ACTING MANAGING Director of GOIL Company Limited, Kwame Osei-Prempeh, has launched the 2019 edition of the ‘Efie ne Fie’ Promotion to reward loyal customers.
The ceremony also witnessed the re-opening of the newly refurbished North Legon Service station at Haatso, near Accra.
Recounting the achievements chalked over the past year, Mr. Osei Prempeh mentioned the conferment of the 2018 CIMG ‘Hall of Fame Petroleum Company’ and the ‘Customer-Oriented Company’ of the year 2018 honours on GOIL, saying it was ample proof the company was doing the right things in terms of quality to meet the expectation of customers.
The promotion, which began on the 15th of November, 2019, nationwide at the company’s over 390 stations is expected to end in January 2020.
Kwamena Bartels, chairman of the Board of GOIL, reiterated GOIL’s leadership position, promising it will set the best example in the country. He called on all drivers, to take advantage of this year’s promotion.
Explaining the mechanics of the promotion, the Head of Fuel Marketing, Marcus Deo Dake, said the promotion would benefit private and commercial car drivers.
Drivers that buy fuel worth GH?100 or more and GH?30 in the case of motorbike users would receive a scratch card with a hidden PIN. Over 700 thousand instant rewards would be given out while 2500 drivers would also benefit from the ultimate rewards.
Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies, Kwaku Agyeman Duah, commended GOIL for always raising the standards and setting the pace in the industry. Mr. Kwamena Bartels assisted by the Acting MD, some Board Members and management later cut the sod to officially open the multi-purpose service centre.
