Gov’t Awaits Arrival Of 245 Illegal Ghanaian Immigrants From Kuwait

Arrangements are being made at the Kotoka International Airport to receive some 245 illegal Ghanaian immigrants from Kuwait .

The deportees are expected in the country this afternoon.

Army officers, Ghana Immigration Service officials and health personnel as well as journalists are currently converging at the airport to receive them.

Some five ambulances are on standby at the airport to apparently convey them to isolation centers upon arrivals.

DGN Online’s visit at the airport also discovered an army bus which perhaps could also help in conveying them to their respective isolation centers.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has told journalists yesterday, May 22, that they will he tested and isolated for at least 14 days.
