Some concerned citizens are planning a demonstration against what they called persistent abuse of citizens’ rights by the police and other national security agencies.
Convenors of the “WeTaya” protest march have already notified the Ghana police service.
The convenors are Jennifer Akuamoah, Nana Ama Asante-Agyemang, Charles Majid Nyarko, Kojo Afedzi Ocran and Raphael Ofori-Adeniran.
Their planned action, according to them, is underpinned by recent alleged abuse of CitiFM journalist, Caleb Kudah, by some national security operatives,
They are planning to embark on the demonstration dubbed: “MarchwithCaleb” on May 22, 2021.
