FLASHBACK: Scene from the Ghana DJ Awards
AS PART of the roadmap to the 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, ‘Pub Fest’, a cultural musical festival held in a series of pubs, featuring live music, drinks, and socialising is set to kick start from August 1 to October 4, 2025.
The Pub Fest will take place at the following locations: Kona, August 1, Accra; Bamobi, August 8, Winneba; Signature, August 15, Tema; Swagger, August 30 in Takoradi, The Cabin, September 6 in Sunyani, Virgin City, September 13 in Accra; Makavo, September 21 in Aflao; Liquid Bar, September 27 in Accra and P2 Lounge, October 13 in Kumasi.
According to Merqury Republic, organisers of the awards event, the pub festivals will showcase local musicians, breweries, or specific themes, providing an intimate setting for people to enjoy good company, music, and drinks.
They also announced that the awards, powered by Smirnoff, will undertake other activities such as a Ladies’ Concert and Nominees Jam.
Other equally relevant activities and events include the television series dubbed ‘Road to Guinness Ghana DJ Awards’, which airs on Joy Prime, a nationwide tour, and the Ghana DJ Clinic, which provides in-depth and priceless education to DJs and other stakeholders in the music fraternity.
