Kwaisey Pee
Highlife act, Kwaisey Pee, has said he doesn’t recognise Hajia4Real as a musician.
According to him, he rather considers her a social media influencer than a musician.
Speaking on Takoradi-based Empire FM, he explained that Hajia who is otherwise called Mona Montrage is not a talented musician, hence he could not call her a musician.
“People will love to do a song with someone like Hajia4Real who is not a musician because of her large following,” he indicated.
Asked to explain what he meant, he stressed, “I know you want me to say something, so you use it for a story but truth be told, Hajia4Real is not a musician. I am telling you.”
“You know what I’m talking about, but you want to push me so you say Kwaisey Pee said it,” he insisted.
Hajia4Real has however been quiet about Kwaisey’s comment.
The socialite started her music career in 2020 after releasing her first single ‘Badder Than’.
She later dropped ‘Fine Girl’, and ‘God’s Child’ before launching a 7-track EP titled ‘Here to Stay’ on October 14, 2021.
The debut EP of the Ghanaian socialite known for her curves, beauty and luxurious lifestyle comprises ‘Hero’ produced by Richie, ‘Zaddy’s Girl’ ft. Medikal, produced by Richie; ‘Hit’ ft. Stonebwoy, produced by Streetbeatz; ‘Baby’ ft. Shatta Wale, produced MixMaster Garzy; ‘Gimme Dat’ ft. Efya, produced by MixMaster Garzy; and ‘Bad Gyal’, produced by MixMaster Garzy.
She even got a nomination in the last Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for the best music video category as well as performed on the music awards stage. However, Kwaisey says she doesn’t qualify to be called a musician.
