Homebase Television is fast becoming Ghana’s number one television channel to watch the latest political, social, and economic issues programme dubbed ‘Fapemso’, with a live coverage gearing more viewership on Facebook.
‘Fapemso’ show is hosted by celebrated media personality, Clifford Sly Ofosu. It airs on weekdays from 4:30-5:30 pm.
The talk show since 2020 has remained resilient in a world of streaming, and supercharged news cycles as viewers tune in any given weekday to watch top political officials and newsmakers analysing important political issues.
According to the host, “Viewers look to us to sort out the intensity of what happened during a given week, sometimes within 24 hours,” adding, “It’s important for viewers to know we are talking to you and with you, not at you or above you concerning all the happenings in the country.”
He believes ‘Fapemso’ is having a golden moment, adding, “I think we have worked really hard to earn the trust of our audience and we promise them nothing but the best this year.”
Social media has helped expand the programme content beyond terrestrial television, amplifying the dialogue like never before, with contributions from the teeming grassroots of various political parties which challenges the guests to take off their script and react in real-time.
