Organisers of the annual music and comedy show dubbed ‘Music, Magic & Comedy’ (MMC Live 2018) have disclosed that this year’s event will be used to launch Huawei.
The event will be held at the National Theatre on April 21, according to the organisers.
It will witness rib-cracking jokes from comedy icons such as Jacinta, DKB, among others.
The show, which has magician and mentalist Larry Soffer from South Africa as the headline artiste, will also witness performances from dancehall artiste Samini, King Promise and a host of other celebrated artistes.
Organised by Global Media Alliance, MMC LIVE is a wholesome entertainment show that features renowned performers in music, magic and comedy on one stage.
Commenting on the launch of the new device, the Marketing Manager at Huawei Ghana, Fixon Dennis Laryea, explained that the new device is shipped with Android Oreo skinned with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0.
According to him, the device comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, offering enough space for users. It also comes with a dual nano SIM slot with separate micro SD slot.
“We believe the patrons MMC Live constitute a key part of our target audience and we are excited to partner Global Media Alliance to launch the Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 at this year’s night of Music, Magic & Comedy,” he said.
On his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Media Alliance, Mr Ernest Boateng, stated that “we are honoured to have Huawei partner us in this year’s event.
“Having music, magic and comedy from great performers is surely a great way to de-stress. And we are grateful to Huawei for aligning with GMA’s vision of being at the forefront of media and entertainment development in Africa,” he added.
The new Huawei Y7 Prime 2018, which is an upgrade to last year’s Huawei Y7, has a 5.99-inch HD+ HUAWEI full view display with a 1,440 x 720 resolution in an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The rear features a dual-camera setup with a 13MP shooter paired with a 2MP camera for help with depth perception.
