I Remain Loyal To Shatta Wale – Captan

 Shatta Wale and Captan

Captan, a former member of Shatta Wale’s SM Militants, has revealed that he remains loyal to dancehall act, Shatta Wale, due to his years of support and dedication in building his craft as an artiste.

In a Tiktok Live video, which has since gone viral on X, Captan disclosed that Shatta Wale supported his craft, hence he can never betray the dancehall act.

“Loyalty is a lifestyle and we cannot fake it. If someone has done good to me, the only thing I can do is to show appreciation, and Shatta Wale has played a major role in my life. He has actually made me the man that I am today and has made me learn many things about life, not just music, but how to take some things serious. I cannot pay him back, the only way I can pay him back is been loyal,” he stated.

Captan is a Ghanaian musician and a member of the Shatta Movement (SM) artiste group, SM Militants, alongside Addi Self and Natty Lee.

He was part of the group that rose to fame in the late 2010s with hits like ‘Taking Over’, ‘Forgetti’, and ‘Thunder Fire’, collaborating with Shatta Wale. However, the group disbanded in 2020 due to personal issues with Shatta Wale, with Captan being the only member retained by the SM label.

Captan has since spoken about the fallout, stating Shatta Wale had his reasons for disbanding the group, and has denied involvement in the decision to sack his former group mates. He’s also been involved in some controversies, including a feud with Kelvyn Boy, whom he threatened to slap.
