Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has made a startling revelation, disclosing that she began smoking at the age of 13 and battled the addiction for 27 years.

The 40-year-old actress shared her testimony during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church, where she spoke about her struggles with smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation, and prolonged anger issues.

Describing her experiences as “demonic oppression,” Tonto Dikeh said her freedom came through divine intervention, noting that noticeable changes began when her spiritual life improved.

“I smoked since I was 13. God healed me from masturbation, too. I have known myself to have sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child,” she told the congregation.

The actress traced her smoking habit to early exposure at home, revealing that her father was a smoker. She used the opportunity to caution parents against exposing children to harmful habits that could shape their future negatively.

Tonto Dikeh also revealed that she was recently delivered from what she described as “demonic anger,” an issue she said had previously damaged her relationships and personal life.

Following her testimony, the founder of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze, prayed for the actress, declaring that “the burden of sin is broken” and describing her as “a voice in her generation.”
