Roman Fada
With his innovative presentation style, Philip Appiah Kubi, also known as Roman Fada and host of the drive-time show on Atinka FM, is becoming a well-known and vocal radio personality in Ghana.
He is among the top radio presenters in the Accra metropolis, having entered the industry two decades ago.
As one of the cornerstones of Atinka FM, he has distinguished himself as one of the most exceptional radio hosts in the metropolis.
Though every radio presenter has his or her own style of presenting, Roman Fada’s style is simple; he presents the issue and let the listeners have their say, and then bring in the experts to share their views on the matter and then it is discussed.
“It’s a great accomplishment that he has been so constant in his style of presenting and has significantly more expertise in the broadcasting business,” a listener told BEATWAVES.
According to him, “Roman Fada has demonstrated that his style is distinct and that he has a good personality that matches that style.”
As a well-known radio presenter in Ghana today, Roman Fada claimed he uses his programmes to inform Ghanaians about issues impacting both society and individual lives, as well as to promote social causes.
He pointed out that his programme on Atinka FM has attracted a large following due to its content as well as the personalities who appear on the programme, adding that radio is all about research, creativity and direction.
“I’ve put forth a lot of effort to get this far. I’ll keep putting in endless effort to develop my name into a brand,” he declared.
Roman Fada, who hosts the Drive Time programme on Atinka FM and the morning show on DL 106.9 FM, has remained relevant for more than a decade.
BEATWAVES gathered that the radio presenter has consistently shown his unique presentation style to radio listeners.
Even though he’s among the top radio presenters in the city, he’s one of the few who thinks radio should only be used to promote cultural values and inform the public about topics that have an impact on society’s development.
