I Will Retain NPP Yendi Seat- Farouk Aliu Mahama

 

The Member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency, Farouk Aliu Mahama, says he will retain the Constituency seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Yendi Constituency, made this known when he successfully filed his nomination forms with the Electoral Commission (EC) to represent the people of Yendi in the 2024 general elections.

He assured the EC that he would abide by the rules and regulations of the commission to ensure a free, fair, and transparent election in the constituency.

Addressing party supporters after filing his nomination, Farouk Aliu Mahama said the regional and constituency executives and his team are working to ensure that the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes president and retains the Yendi seat with a 60,000 votes margin.

The Yendi MP, called for unity in the party ahead of the 2024 general elections to support breaking the 8.

Mr. Mahama disclosed that the new Yendi city vision is progressing steadily with massive road infrastructure, provision of potable water, building of schools, health facilities, women empowerment, and support for farmers among other interventions.

The Yendi MP appealed to party supporters to be ambassadors for the party and to join the door to door-to-door campaign in the constituency.

“ From today, we are not sleeping we are embarking on a door-to-door campaign in the constituency and so I appeal to you all to be ambassadors of the party to ensure that we break the eight come December 7 general election.”

He urged the people of Yendi to vote massively for the NPP come December 7 general elections to help the NPP break the eight for more developmental projects in the constituency.
