Dr Likee
Renowned actor and skitmaker, Dr Likee, has revealed that he remains unfazed by insults and personal attacks, choosing instead to focus on his career growth and contributing to the development of Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Angel FM, Dr Likee shared his perspective on criticism and how he deals with negativity.
“I have been beaten several times on the streets, so I don’t care about insults and attacks. I am on very good terms with people who attack me,” he said. “My focus is on the fact that I need to get the industry to grow.”
Dr Likee, who has become a household name through his comedic skits, expressed his vision of nurturing new talent from less-represented regions such as the Bono area.
He plans to integrate these fresh faces into his productions to further expand his career and elevate the skit-making industry.
“I’m looking at getting new actors from the Bono area to use them to produce skits and propel my career. I don’t have time to debate who is better or who came first,” he added.
“If you don’t want to praise me, I don’t care. I know that I’m good in this career,” Dr. Likee stated confidently.
