Jigga-Stone addressing journalists
UK-based Ghanaian Afrobeat sensation, Jigga-Stone, has revealed his desire to collaborate with rap king, Sarkodie.
The artiste made this exciting announcement during a brief media interaction upon his arrival at Kotoka International Airport on Thursday, ahead of time for his highly anticipated concert.
In his remarks, Jigga-Stone praised Ghana’s music industry, highlighting its originality and global appeal, attributing much of its success to influential figures like Sarkodie.
“Across the world, a lot of people enjoy Ghanaian music because of its originality and unique sound. And one of the pioneers of this good music is Sarkodie,” he stated.
The afrobeat artiste revealed that while he has plans to work with three Ghanaian artistes, Sarkodie stands out as one of his top choices for collaboration.
Jigga-Stone’s “Live in Ghana” concert is set for November 20 at the Level Bar in Osu, featuring an impressive lineup that includes Keche, Akuapem Poloo, and other surprise acts. Attendees will also witness the Premiere of his music video.
Jigga-Stone recently released a new music video titled “Links from GH,” featuring TYI, which has already started making waves.
