Kumasi Asante Kotoko head trainer Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has described the late goal against his side as silly.
The Porcupine Warriors lost 0-1 to Dreams FC in Dawu on Sunday; their third streak loss after bowing to Medeama and Ashgold previously.
Kotoko played spiritedly but failed to connect home all the chances that came their way.
Speaking after the game, Coach Fabin said, “This was a match we should have won hands-down, but I don’t know what happened, in the last minute we conceded a very silly goal and lost.”
“We were probing for goals, except that [Kotoko players] stopped doing what I asked them to do. I asked them to keep pushing and trying, but it got to a point when they relaxed, I can’t explain that.”
Kotoko are optimistic of making amends when they host Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi in their next game.
