The first phase of the Nursing and Midwifery College located at Odumase-Krobo in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipalily of the Eastern Region has been handed over to the Regional Coordinating Council.
The Nursing and Midwifery Training College was established some few years ago without permanent structures.
Subsequently, the Manya Krobo Traditional Council gave a temporary facility to the college.

The team, led by the Deputy Regional Minister, Dr Samuel Nuertey Ayertey, who received the keys on behalf of the RCC, was happy with the work done but advised the contractor and consultant to consider the cost of two mechanized boreholes and a walkway to link the two separate buildings.

He reiterated government’s commitment to completing the project for management and students to get serene environment to boost effective teaching and learning.
The various speakers at the function applauded him for playing a crucial role in the establishment of the Nursing and Midwifery College at Odumase-Krobo.
