Kweikuma Cultural Group To Discover Talents

The members of the Kweikuma Cultural Group recently embarked on an educational tour to some selected educational institution to educate students on the country’s cultural music and dance.

The purpose of the educational tour is to help young people discover their skills and find work.

For students in the nation’s second cycle and tertiary institutions, the group organized training programs on Ghanaian culture, music, and dance as part of the tour.

To improve participants’ comprehension of both traditional and modern African artistic manifestations, a variety of topics in African traditional and popular culture, philosophy, and visual and performing arts were introduced.
The group disclosed that over 75 young people who are currently leading Ghanaian traditional music and dance were trained by it last year.

It stated that it is currently in negotiations with its sponsors to invest in some of the traditional music and dance ensembles in the nation in order to provide more jobs for young people.
