Lady Nana Yaa Nyarko, a 22-year-old Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) graduate, was crowned Miss Malaika 2023.
This year’s edition of Miss Malaika beauty pageant was held last Friday, November 24, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra.
In a fierce struggle, Lady Nyarko defeated nine other stunning and intelligent young ladies to take home the bragging rights of this year’s pageant.
Following several weeks of participating in competitive activities, the stunning, clever, and composed women displayed their grace and charm in an amazing demonstration of elegance.
Enyam Dzandu, a 21-year-old University of Ghana student, placed second, whilst 23-year-old KNUST graduate Fareeda Habib took the third position.
For her prize, Lady received a brand-new car, an undisclosed sum of money, a trip abroad, and mementos from sponsors as part of her award.
The crowd was thrilled with performances by Mr. Drew, S3fa, Maya Blu, Olivetheboy, and Banzy Banero at the event, which was organised by Charterhouse Ghana.
Miss Malaika Ghana seeks to promote the individual qualities and abilities of young women and to empower them.
