A major peace conference attended by delegates from all parts of Cameroon has ended.
The three-day conference brought together over 1,000 delegates.
The National Women’s Convention for Peace in Cameroon is billed to announce peace proposals in the country’s Anglophone regions, and northern areas affected by Boko Haram incursions.
“Resolutions will be tabled to policy makers, international community…we are tired of suffering and we want peace,” Esther Oman, one of the organisers, is quoted by DW as telling the press.
