Dada KD
Renowned highlife artist, Dada Kwaku Duah, popularly known as Dada KD, has expressed scepticism about the institution of marriage, describing it as a “scam” for those who are unfortunate in their choice of partners.
In an interview on Onua FM, the musician, celebrated for his timeless love songs, shared his personal views on love and matrimony.
“Marriage is a scam,” Dada KD asserted during the interview. He elaborated that while marriage can be successful for some, it largely depends on luck. “But it’s not always the case. Sometimes, when you’re lucky in it, you can make it out successfully,” he noted. He emphasised the role of fortune in marital success, stating, “It is luck.”
Reflecting on his journey, Dada KD revealed that he is still in search of the right partner and is yet to settle down. “If you’re unlucky like me, who is yet to find someone and settle down, what you want to attain in life may not materialize,” he admitted. Despite his reservations, he remains hopeful about the future, adding, “But if I’m lucky, and all things being equal, I’ll introduce my woman to the world soon.”
