Mayor Turns Prophet

Osei Assibey Antwi

THE KUMASI Mayor, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, has prophesied that the Kumasi Metropolis will grow speedily by the grace of God Almighty.

According to him, the development of the metropolis will be swift to the surprise of all and sundry because the mighty hand of God is working for the city.

“Kumasi will prosper because a powerful man of God has visited us to lead the city into an unending development that will amaze the residents”, he said.

Hon. Osei Assibey uttered this positive statement just after Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye of the Maker’s House Chapel in Accra had finished preaching.

The occasion was the 2018 edition of the Grace Convocation, which was held at the PIWC at New Tafo in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.

Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye was the main speaker of the three-day spiritual programme, which was under the theme ‘The God of All Grace’.

Another powerful man of God, Prophet Badu Kobi, was also present at the event, which saw the spirit of God sweeping through the huge congregants.

Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye had preached about God’s grace, which is always present and accessible to every individual based on their faith.

His sermon was so powerful that the congregants didn’t want him to stop preaching.

Hon. Osei Assibey, who was called to the pulpit to send fraternal messages to the congregation, confessed that he was thrilled by the sermon.

He said, “God bless this preacher; he came to lead Kumasi to a breakthrough that the city needs”.

The Kumasi Mayor, who is a staunch Christian, disclosed that he had been blessed, following the powerful sermon delivered by Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye.

Sounding confident, he prophesied that definitely Kumasi would experience massive growth in all areas because a powerful man of God had visited the city.

Hon. Osei Assibey stated that he had been blessed exceedingly beyond his expectation after attending the historic church programme at PIWC.

The memorable religious programme was also graced by Christians from the various churches in the Ashanti regional capital and even beyond.
