Medeama Confirm Transfers Of 9 Players To Europe

Remarkable news coming from the camp of Ghana’s African Champions League representatives, Medeama SC, is set to shift the dynamics of football development in Ghana.

At least nine young players have been transferred to Sirens FC in Malta, as part of the Tarkwa-based club’s strategic development programme with the tourism destination hub.

According to a club source, officials of Sirens FC were in Ghana as far back as 2022 on scouting and assessment tours to hand pick the players.

The players, after months of monitoring, were duly signed and they include Charles Agyemang, Akwasi Donsu, Hafiz Mohamed, Prosper Owusu Boakye and Daniel Opoku.

The rest are Bismark Asare, Muktar Moro, and Frank Boateng.

Medeama are the new Ghana Premier League Champions and have kicked off their African Champions League campaign with a preliminary 1-0 first leg win over Remo Stars of Nigeria.
