Minister Woos Ashanti Voters For NPP

Simon Osei Mensah

THE ASHANTI Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, has urged voters in the region to cast their ballots for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to help sustain the development of the country.

He said since the inception of the 1992 Constitution, no government has performed better, in terms of the delivery of infrastructural development, than the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration.

According to him, the NPP government has worked tirelessly to develop every sector of the economy, stressing the need for the electorates to retain the government in political office on December 7.

Osei Mensah was addressing media practitioners in Kumasi during the Regional Coordinating Council’s (RCC) press conference to outline the government’s splendid works in the region.

He particularly lauded the NPP administration for bringing numerous developmental projects to the Ashanti Region, to help improve the lives of the people.

Throwing more light on the projects executed by the NPP in the Ashanti Region so far, Osei Mensah said the region has experienced massive road projects, thereby improving the movement of people and goods.

On health, the regional minister assured that the numerous hospital projects, which have been started by the NPP administration in the region, would be completed very soon to help boost healthcare delivery.

According to him, hospital projects that were commenced before the NPP took over government on January 7, 2017, including Kumawu, Fomena and many others have been completed.

Osei Mensah reiterated his earlier statement that no government has performed better than the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government, indicating that the government’s good works are all over the country.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, therefore, repeated his passionate appeal to the citizenry to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia since he has the wherewithal to sustain the splendid works of President Akufo-Addo.
