MOG Set To Record ‘Koinonia’ At 2022 New Wine Concert

Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer and songwriter, Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, known as MOGmusic in the gospel music industry has officially launched the 6th edition of his flagship annual programme, ‘New Wine Concert’ in Accra.

The much-anticipated event, which would be held in-person with strict compliance to COVID-19 protocols, will take place on March 20 at the Oil Dome of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Accra.

The 2022 edition will see the live recording of MOG’s latest album titled ‘Koinonia’ which features songs with renowned gospel musicians in the country and abroad such as Donnie McClurkin, Joe Mettle, Michael Stuckey, etc.

Speaking at the launch of the concert, the VGMA two-time Male Vocalist of the Year said the album will add to the worshipers’ array of songs.

He said the title, ‘Koinonia’ signifies a safe place for the Christian community worldwide to worship God.

According to MOGmusic, activities have been outlined to garner support for the event, adding “I can assure you that lives are going to be touched and there will be testimonies.”

Under the patronage of the Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, Founder and Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel International, the concert will be live on TV platforms including Powerline TV as well as social media handles of MOGmusic.

Moving away from the free event, patrons of this year’s event would have to buy a ticket ranging from as low as GH¢25 to be part of this music experience. The short code *389*777# can be used to purchase the tickets.
