Collins Adomako Mensah
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region, Collins Adomako Mensah, has donated a motorbike to the Nkwantakese Health Centre to enhance health care delivery in the area.
The MP said the donation was in response to a request made to him by the Chief of Nkwantakese, Nana Boakye Yam and the Assemblyman, Biggy, during a community engagement tour last week in the constituency.
According to him, the motorbike will enable the health workers to deliver quality healthcare services to the people in the constituency.
“I am thankful to Nkwantakesehene and his elders for their efforts and support to me. Afigya Kwabre North Constituency is rising,” Mr. Mensah stated and asked all the constituents to get involved.
He also pledged 200 bags of cement towards the construction of a police station project which is a community initiative project by the people.
His tour in the constituency took him and his entourage to Penteng, Pampatia, Nkwantakese and Ahenkro during which he thanked the people for their support during the general election.
The MP reiterated his commitments to the development of each community, and various community leaders also thanked him for his style of leadership and prayed that he continuously engages the communities.
At Penteng, the MP made a donation of GH¢3,000 to assist with a ‘self-help’ toilet project that is being executed by the chiefs and people of the town.
He encouraged other communities to emulate the initiative as part of their contributions towards the development of the constituency.
Mr. Adomako Mensah again made a donation of GH¢7,000 to the St. Michaels Senior High School (SHS) at Ahenkro to help it complete a block that was initiated by the former MP, Nana Amaniampong.
He expressed gratitude to the staff of the Afigya Kwabre North District Assembly, particularly DCE Kakari Acheamfuor, and the New Patriotic Party executives for joining him during the tour of the constituency.
