The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) last Friday, October 14 organised a musical concert dubbed ‘MUSIGA Peace Concert’ to entertain and educate residents of Tamale on the need to maintain peace before, during and after the elections.
The peace concert which was held at the Tamale Jubilee Park attracted over 15,000 music fans from Tamale and its surrounding towns and villages.
Artistes such as Fancy Gadam, Mama Ramz, Kaya, Gonje and a host of others took to the stage one after the other and treated music fans to an unforgettable performance.
The free show, according to the organisers, kicked off on a promising note, and all the artistes performed their heart out to the expectant crowd.
Tamale-based popular artiste, Fancy Gadam, who was the headline artiste on the night, performed songs such as ‘Concrete’, ‘Jah Know Star’, ‘Takahi’, among others.
Fancy Gadam at the event proved to all and sundry that he is still a force to reckon with when it comes to delivery on stage. He dazzled the crowd with his vocal ability, stagecraft and dancing skills.
The event was put together by MUSIGA and sponsored by Star-Ghana.
