Mzbel Accuses Fetish Priest Of Defrauding Her

Mzbel

Songstress Mzbel is alleging she has been defrauded by a traditional fetish priest at James Town, Accra, called Na Ye Wei.

The controversial musician, who believes in African spirituality and traditional system of doing things, took a case to the fetish priest and allegedly paid a sum of GH¢2,000.

But speaking on UTV on Saturday night, she said the priest failed to have the job done.

According to her, she has called on several occasions to make sure the work was done, but the priest only gives excuses of being admitted at the hospital.

She is therefore of the strong conviction that she has been defrauded because to her the fetish priest is only feigning to be sick.

“How can a high priest be on drips in the hospital for so many weeks? You took GH¢2,000 from me; that you would handle my case for me. All I said was someone was disturbing me and I wanted my peace of mind. Therefore, I wanted you to handle the case for me; I could have taken it to court because I have two lawyers, but I thought that will drag and then I brought it to you. You were highly recommended. When I came to you, I told you the reason  why I don’t believe in our court system and you assured me your work is very fast and you work with the Supreme Court, the police etc. As I speak, if I call you, no response. If I text, no reply. Chief priest how come you are in the hospital,” Mzbel alleged.

“I went there for a solution, they took my money and every time I call, they keep playing tricks on me. They are fraud,” she added.

The musician, who will unveil her BelJam Records and new artistes late January 2021, has therefore advised Ghanaians in the diaspora not to visit the shrine in James Town after her experience.
