Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo has appealed to Ghanaians not to give up, despite the hardships because her husband Nana Akufo-Addo will transform Ghana if he wins the elections.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer is contesting incumbent John Mahama in the December 7 polls, a race which will be their second after the 2012 polls, but Nana Addo’s third in a row.
Speaking to some market women at Galilea Market at Bortiano Amanfrom constituency, the wife of the former Attorney General said they have to be part of the change blowing in Ghana.
“Please hold on, don’t give up even though times are tough,” Mrs. Akufo-Addo said.
“Tell Ghanaians that we need change to make Ghana a place where we can all make a decent living. As a mother I know how difficult it is for mothers, when the economy is doing as badly as it is now. But there is hope, if we all vote for Nana Addo and the NPP, because they have proven the know-how to manage a country and ensure business thrive,” Mrs Akufo-Addo added.
She was accompanied by regional executives, the parliamentary candidate, Alhaji Habib Saad, constituency executives and some bigwigs of the New Patriotic Party.
