The Northern Development Authority (NDA), has opened its new office at Nalerigu in the North East region.
The Chief Executive Officer of Northern Development Authority (NDA) Sumaila Abdul-Rahman, who led the team to the North East region said the opening of the new office in the North East region is part of their expansion project in the newly created regions.
The NDA CEO also handed over a brand new pickup vehicle to the North East office to facilitate their movement to monitor projects implemented by the NDA in the region.
He disclosed that the NDA has implemented over 1,900 projects within the authority’s zone.
“So it is important to have the staff around to monitor and ensure the completion of these projects for usage.”
He called on the Regional Coordinating Council and the Assemblies to support the authority to ensure that projects executed by NDA are monitored effectively and delivered on time to serve the intended purposes.
Earlier, the NDA led by its CEO commissioned CHPS Compounds in West Mamprusi Municipality and East Mamprusi municipality respectively.
The North East Regional Coordinator. Chimsi Musah welcomed the NDA into the region and assured them that the coordinating council will create an enabling environment for the staff to work effectively to ensure that the needed development is brought to the region.
