The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, has emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot be a viable option for Ghanaians due to its lack of vision.

Speaking at the Campaign Launch of the Efia Constituency of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dame stated, “The NDC cannot even explain their 24-hour economy to Ghanaians, and we must not allow ourselves to be deceived.”

The Attorney-General highlighted the need for a party with a clear vision and focus, particularly in the current state of the country.

He praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the only person with the necessary qualities to turn Ghana’s fortunes around.

“Ghana requires a party with a vision and focus, and we need a man with a vision like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the nation to the promised land.”

Mr Dame further reiterated that the NPP’s quest to break the ‘8’ is not driven by selfish interests but rather a desire to secure and safeguard the country’s future.

“Breaking the ‘8’ is not for any selfish reason at all; it is simply for the future of this country,” he stated.

The Member of Parliament for Esikado Ketan in the Western Region, Joe Ghartey also urged NPP members to support the party’s candidates, stating, “I don’t support any human being, I support the party, so anybody representing the party, I am with him. That should be your policy.”

Joe Ghartey emphasized the need for the Western Region to deliver a massive victory for the NPP, saying, “We have to win the Western Region massively so that we will also be counted as part of those that won massively [for the party to come to power].”
