Hassan Tampuli displays the award
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has been presented with the European Society Best Quality Leadership Award, Gold Category, in Las Vegas, USA.
Hassan Tampuli, Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), who received the award on behalf of the NPA, said his outfit has renewed its commitment to the quality of petroleum products offered to the public, indicating that it only wants the highest quality.
In this regard, Mr. Tampuli said the NPA would work tirelessly with the various security agencies in the country to deal with the “bad guys” operating in the system, while supporting the good ones to expand their businesses.
The NPA was one of 51 companies from 41 countries honoured at the event.
Mr. Tampuli said the award was in recognition of the effective policies put in place by the Authority to not only improve the downstream sector, but contribute to the ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ vision of President Akufo Addo.
“It’s eloquent testimony to the factthat whatever we are doing in West Africa, Africa and around the world, it is receiving the attention of thought leaders around the world who are looking at initiatives we have put in place to actualize the vision of the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for Ghana beyond aid.”
Mr. Tampuli also used the occasion to pay tribute to the staff of the NPA for their tireless efforts over the period.
He thanked them for unflinchingly supporting him.
