NPP Chairman Explains Nana’s Policies In North America

Edmund Kyei

The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asokwa Constituency, Edmund Kyei, has started a campaign to promote government’s policies in the United States of America (USA).

The NPP stalwart, who is on a private visit to the US and Canada, has decided to use his short stay in those countries to thoroughly explain the numerous policies that the current Akufo-Addo administration has introduced to accelerate national development.

Explaining issues to Ghanaians living in New York, Mr. Kyei, said that President Akufo-Addo and his team have made strides in improving the lives of the people after inheriting the mess from the NDC administration.

From New York, the Asokwa Constituency First Vice Chairman of the NPP would head to Canada where he is expected to brief Ghanaians there.

Mr. Kyei, who is a member of the NPP’s National Communications Team, told DAILY GUIDE via telephone that his interactions with Ghanaians in New York were fruitful.

“I am here on a private holidays but since there are a lot of Ghanaians here, I have decided to use my short stay to explain President Nana Akufo-Addo government’s positive policies to them.”

“I have taken my time to explain policies such as the free Senior High School (SHS), One District, One Factory, and all the other positive programmes to them,” Mr. Kyei indicated.

He said that the opposition NDC is still bitter about its humiliating defeat to the NPP in 2016.

The NPP member stressed the need for a dedicated team to counteract the blatant lies by the NDC.

According to him, President Nana Akufo-Addo is committed to the accelerated development of Ghana and needs the support of everybody to become successful.

He said Ghana was on the brink of collapse due to the NDC’s poor governance, but the NPP administration has reversed the negative trend since taking over in 2017.

Mr. Kyei said President Akufo-Addo and his appointees are working fervently to restore hope to Ghanaians, saying the NPP deserves a second term in office in the 2020 elections to continue with the good works.
