Musah Walaika Iddrisu
The Sissala West Constituency Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper West region, Musah Walaika Iddrisu, on Tuesday was nearly lynched after some unknown thugs in the area attacked him.
It’s unclear what led to the incident, that triggered the thugs to hack him with a machete around 2am in the constituency.
He has since been suffering from a wound on his left arm as he is currently receiving treatment at the Upper West Regional Hospital.
The victim was seen in a picture lying helplessly with blood all over his body.
The Police have since commenced an investigation into the matter.
It has been reported that this is the second time since he has suffered such attacks.
The victim has been the Nasara Coordinator for the Constituency since 2009 currently seeking re-election in the upcoming Constituency Executive Elections of the party.
