Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has shed light on the circumstances leading to the worsening health of musician Okomfour Kwadee.
In a video shared on February 7, 2025, Kwaku Manu revealed that after Okomfour Kwadee’s health began to decline, he was admitted to a rehabilitation center by his family and management team.
However, upon his improvement, certain individuals removed him from the facility without consulting the owner. Subsequently, he was taken to perform at shows, but his prescribed treatment was not continued, leading to a relapse.
Kwaku Manu expressed disappointment over the lack of gratitude shown to the rehab center’s owner, who had played a significant role in Okomfour Kwadee’s recovery. He also criticized the management for not adhering to the prescribed treatment plan, which he believes contributed to the artist’s current condition.
After he left the rehab, his management started taking him to perform at shows. They didn’t even return to thank the woman who helped him. It wasn’t long before he started lashing out at journalists during interviews.
His management and the people around him weren’t following the prescribed treatment. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was allowed to smoke after he left rehab. That was when he started losing his senses,” he stated.
The revelation comes amid growing public concern over Okomfour Kwadee’s health, following the circulation of a video showing the artist in a deteriorated state. Fans and industry figures have called for immediate intervention to support the musician.
